Field Trip Report: The Anhaltinischen Zupforchester

Below is a photo of the Anhaltinischen Zupforchester, a mandolin group local to Dessau, Germany (about an hour south of Berlin) where I happen to be for a while. They performed on June 7 before an appreciative audience with a delightful program including Mozart, Telemann and some lively foxtrots, a Mario Macciochi tarantella and a tango, I think. I'll tell ya! Nothing finer than sitting in the cool of the evening enjoying a fine old pilsner to the sounds of our favorite instrument! Life's good!
