The fledgling Preville Mandolin & Guitar Orchestra (PM&GO) is on it's way of becoming a true mandolin orchestra. They are part of Preville Fine Arts Centre, which operates in Chambly Academy, 675 Green st. in St. Lambert QC. CANADA. As the photo shows, it is a true family affair. Saturdays is lesson time. Johanna Hebing, founder, teacher and conductor is developing a course designed to appeal to people of any age. The group got its start with the wonderful help of Belva Thomas, founder of PFAC. Through the generous grants of the CMSA and its founder Norman Levine, the group was able to buy instruments, which was a great help in getting things started. Orchestra practice is on Monday night in the beautiful music room of Chambly Academy. Anyone can join, group-lessons are on all levels. Private lessons are also available.
