In 2003, several friends in the Bloomington, Illinois, area decided to form a mandolin orchestra based on the model of a traditional early 20th-Century mandolin orchestra. Most of the typical instruments are now represented in the group. Thanks to other mandolin orchestras and help from individuals, our repertoire, eclectic in nature, has grown considerably. We have performed in public and private venues on a frequent basis since inception, and our membership is growing.
