We are the Hampton Roads Mandolin Ensemble (HRME) and are very proud to say that we have been together since January 2008.

We are young compared to some of the groups represented on the website. Our repertoire consists of 17th Century dance music, Ragtime and a little Italian and Bluegrass to keep things interesting. Several members also follow their passion playing mandolin by participating in Gypsy Jazz, Folk and Praise/Worship music groups throughout the area.
