Welcome to the new on-line version of the CMSA web site. I think you're going to enjoy this version. There's plenty to see and do. It's an interactive site so not only do you get to read a lot of good information, but there's also many ways for you to interact with our organization.
   For starters visit the on-line searchable database of mandolin instructors. There may be someone living nearby that shares your interest.
   You can also search a list of performances by CMSA members. Traveling somewhere in the near future? You might find one of their performances at your destination. We're just launching so give this area a few weeks so our members can rest up after the convention!
   If this is your first experience with CMSA then read on about how you can join or request a membership application from our site.
   For those of you with a broad interest in all types of mandolin you should try out our automated Comando Subscription feature. Many CMSA members participate and it's a good place to meet some of them.
   Finally, if you're looking for something specific, use our handy search engine to speed your search.
   With the growing popularity of the world wide web, CMSA has an opportunity to spread it's message and reach new people all over the world. We realize that with new members we receive an infusion of new ideas and new support for our mission: to continue to grow the popularity of classical mandolin music.
   So what's in the future of this site? Plenty. In fact, our plan is to update this editorial section monthly. For starters I hope to have each board member speak at least once to the organization throughout the year.
